I am an Irish artist living in Dublin, my practice is rooted in drawing and I use the materiality of pre-existing artworks and objects to examine our complex relationship to time and histories. I recently completed a national touring survey show which opened in the Highlanes Gallery, Drogheda then to Limerick City Gallery of Art and Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre, Cork, Ireland. This tour was supported by the Arts Council of Ireland. I was recently awarded a Dún Laoghaire Baths Artist Studio by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Arts Office. In 2021 I was awarded a 3 year studio membership with Temple Bar Gallery and Studios, Dublin. I undertook an artist residency at the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation, Connecticut, USA in 2022.
My work is in the collections of The National Gallery of Ireland, Arts Council of Ireland/ An Chomhairle Ealaín, The Irish National Collection of Contemporary Drawing, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Art Collection, The Crawford Art Gallery, University College Cork, The Office of Public Works, Technological University Dublin, AXA Art Collection and Private Collections.
I teach Fine Art and Visual Culture at Technological University Dublin and hold a practice based PhD from Northumbria University, England.
